Kent to discover collectible glass at annual show
The 42nd annual Green River Glass Show and Sale is taking place later this month in Kent.
The day is a presentation of the Green River Depression Era Glass Club. Proceeds from this event will be donated to various charities, including the American Diabetes Association, the American Lung Association, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
There will be 35 exhibitors taking part in this year’s show, with over 200 tables. Items on display and for sale will include glass from all eras, jewelry, and decorative collectibles. There will also be several glassware displays from the Green River Depression Era Glass Club.
Randy and Debbie Coe will be offering free glass identification, and each person can bring no more than two items. Glass repair will be provided by Roy’s Glass Repair and Eunique will restore any jewelry brought in by attendees.
There will also be a number of door prizes awarded throughout the day.
Events like this are a way for people to learn about their collections, or for those just new to collection to pick up some new items. Kent stationery printers often help to advertise events like this by providing brochures, flyers, and posters.
The Green River Glass Show and Sale takes place at Kent Commons on February 23 from 9:00AM to 4:30PM. Tickets are $3 each. To learn more about the show, contact Terry Martin at 206-937-4104 or Kay Karson at 253-852-5240.
