Kent plans to roll
The 24th Annual Bowling Classic will be held in University Place, a short drive from Kent. Attendees are expected to attend from across the region.
It will be a nine pin, no tap tournament which is set up so that knocking down 9 pins will result in the award of a strike.
Presented by the Spanapark Lions Club, the tournament offers fun for the entire family. Proceeds benefit the club’s local service projects such as eyesight, hearing, Project New Hope, community food banks, Veteran support, Childhood Cancer Family Foundation and Camp Leo for children with diabetes.
A dessert auction along with a silent auction will take place during the tournament. Raffles will be part of the fun throughout the day, along with door prizes being awarded.
The ever-popular Daffodil Royal Court will be the highlight of the event as it presents bowling with a princess. The Lady Bug Florist will provide flowers for the Daffodil Court.
Banner printing is a great way to highlight locations of importance such as parking, registration, concessions, and assigned lanes. The banners can also be used to feature sponsors. Local print shops are available to assist with printing projects for community events.
