What's Happening in Kent, WA…

Kent goes Inside OUT

The Inside OUT Open Air Dining & Market Place will take place soon in Kent. The event presents shopping, dining, entertainment, and art.

The event turns the 1st Ave block area into a marketplace space that is just for pedestrians. Vendors will line the streets offering a range of treasures. A variety of restaurants will be participating this year, including Wild Wheat Bakery and Café, Rafiki Restaurant and Lounge, Maggies, Thai Chili, Altha’s Louisiana Spices and Deli, Pied Piper, and Burritos El Incapaz.

Retail shops in the area will be on hand throughout the event. Surrounding downtown areas will be offering art, sidewalk sales, and more vendors.

Vendors can work with local print shops in gathering supplies for events of this type. Banner printing is an excellent way to create signage that is easy to transport and hang in booths. Banners can have the logo and business info in bold font with graphics and colorful images.

PO Boxx will perform for the audiences at the marketplace, specializing in island-style sounds with a funky twist. They traditionally blend R&B with reggae for many of their numbers, and also perform arrangements in harmony that create emotions with a soulful touch.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 7 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. For more information, visit the event website or call 253-813-6976.
