Kent couples asked to commit to Seattle Wedding Show
Kent couples ready to tie the knot will want to travel to the Washington State Convention Center for the Seattle Wedding Show.
The event is the largest wedding show in the state with hundreds of booths featuring venues, photographers, caterers, fashion designers, florists, consultants and planners, and more.
Brides and grooms can check out the latest fashion trends in dresses and tuxedos at four fashions shows on Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 and 3:00 pm.
There will be a number of grand prizes for ticket holders, such as a free wedding dress, a $1,000 jewelry gift certificate, and a free consultation with a wedding planner. A charity raffle has Cancer Pathways selling chances to win a vacation in Mexico. There will also be a photo booth and celebrity cake studio.
January is the most popular month for wedding shows in North America. Vendors and those in the wedding industry can use print shops for brochure and business card printing so they have them on hand in various wedding shows.
Tickets are $18 if purchased online, or $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are free. Visitors who buy a ticket Saturday can get a stamp that allows them to return on Sunday.
