Hard rock fun in Kent
Fans of hard rock might want to think about planning a trip Kent in October.
Godsmack, a Granny-nominated band, is coming to Kent, and bringing Flat Black with their frontman Jason Hook along for the ride.
Godsmack first got together in Lawrence, Massachusetts, in 1995, with Sully Erna, Robbie Merrill, Tony Rombola, and Shannon Larkin as the founders. Since the group formed, they have dropped eight studio albums, including “Faceless,” “IV,” and “The Oracle,” which went to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard top 200 consecutively. They have had 25 songs in the top ten on rock radio, 18 of which made it to the top five. A review says:
Jason Hook was formerly the guitarist with Five Finger Death Punch, and has now formed his new band, Flat Black. They have been signed by Fearless Records, who will release their debut album, and they are touring in support of the new album.
Hook says he feels like his new band is:
He adds that it’s now time to let the world hear the new outfit, and that he’s grateful to Godsmack for bringing Flat Black on tour with them.
The bands will be at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent on October 8. Organizers of concerts like this can promote them with advertisements created by using poster printing techniques.
