Event celebrates the Kent community
The 5th annual You, Me, We Celebration is being held later this week in Kent, and is a presentation of the city itself.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Kent Food Bank.
This is a free event that promises fun for the entire family. There are set to be art activities for the kids, live musical entertainment, children's activities such as face painting and bounce houses, exhibits, and raffles. Guests of all ages can also take part in various sports competitions. Food will be available for purchase, with hot dogs and soda drinks available for $1 each.
Local businesses and community organizations will be on hand to provide information about their products and services. In previous years, the event has also included prize giveaways and games of all types.
The aim of this event is to bring residents of Kent together to celebrate everything the community has to offer. Local stationery printers will likely be asked to contribute printed materials for exhibitors to hand out to those who stop by their booths.
