Business convention upcoming in Kent
A major convention will be held in Kent soon to provide opportunities for engagement with regional businesspeople.
The Kent Chamber of Commerce is presenting its 2024 Regional Business Expo at ShoWare Center, where attendees will find workshops, vendors, and opportunities to network with peers and workers.
Organizers are excited to add new partners to this year’s event, which will offer additional resources and support to the business community. They are the Community Connector Business Program, and the Governor’s Office for Regulatory Innovation.
In addition, more than 100 vendors will be in attendance showcasing the latest in technology, fashion, handmade crafts, and culinary delights. The expo will also encourage attendees to shop local and, by doing so, will help the business and local economy thrive. The networking opportunities available at such events should not be understated.
Potential vendors have a chance to attend a workshop with representatives from the Department of Revenue, the Secretary of State, and similar agencies, who will provide information about business growth, employee management, taxation, and compliance.
The expo is on May 9, from 3.00 pm until 7.00 pm. Vendors will set up from 12.00 pm until 2.00 pm, and then have a networking mixer with other vendors until 3.00 pm. From 3.00 pm until 4.30 pm there are workshops, and the expo opens to the public and runs from 4.30 pm until 7.00 pm. When events like this are planned, organizers often use flyer printing to create maps of the venue to help attendees find vendors.
