Business awards event welcomes more nominations
The Kent Chamber of Commerce is presenting the President's Gala and Business Leadership Awards, which is also the Chamber's annual fundraiser, next month.
Nominations are being accepted for the awards until March 20. There are 10 categories for which local businesspeople can be nominated, including Educator, Citizen, New Business, and Economic Engine of the Year.
More than 400 area business leaders attend this event each year, who will no doubt embrace this year's theme of ‘007’. There will be a red carpet area, live and silent auctions, and a 50/50 draw. After dinner, guests can also take part in a dessert dash. It will also be an important networking event, with plenty of opportunities to discuss business.
Sponsorships are available from $250 to $1,000, which includes auction donations. Sponsors will be recognized in the event program, on the red carpet, in advertising, and on a slide show at the gala.
The program guide will likely be provided by a Kent printing company. It not only recognizes the sponsors, but is alsoa souvenir for those who attend, especially the award winners.
