Blue Wave Aquatics Program starts in Kent
The Blue Wave Aquatics Program will be starting on Monday, June 4, at the Kent-Meridian Pool located at 25316 101st Avenue Street in Kent, Washington. This program will run on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 5:30 am to 6:30 am.
The Blue Wave Aquatics Program is for adults who wish to learn how to swim and participate as part of a team that competes in open water swims. This program is being offered with a free seven-day sign up and will offer adults specialized swimming lessons with master swim team and triathlon consultants there for guidance. This program can be used for fun, learning, and fitness. This swimming course will prepare individuals who are interested in open water swimming by advising on how to breathe properly, lengthen and strengthen their stroke, and build endurance so they can prepare for the next swimming race.
Participants will have access to a 25-yard long pool and will be provided with morning, brunch, and evening workout opportunities. All locations participating in this program, including Kent, will have private and semi-private lessons available, depending on availability of coaches. Coaches at this center believe that all adults should be comfortable and capable in the water, so this is a great opportunity to learn the basics.
Stationery printing for this event has probably been used to ensure the community is aware that this option is available to them. This event is free for the seven-day try-out. For more information about this program, please visit Blue Wave Aquatics website or call the head coach, Wendy, at 253-793-9391.
