Haircutting class helps Chehalis gain new skills
Aspiring stylists and barbers will have an opportunity to learn from industry leaders next month, as a haircutting class is making a stop in Chehalis.
The Haircutting Class: Advanced Cutting and Creativity in Cutting Course will begin accepting new enrollees soon for a two-day event that will provide hands-on experience and instructions from experienced stylists. Students at the event can anticipate elevating their creativity and artistry when cutting hair for clients and working toward certification.
Students will learn to use advanced tools to get different textures and the methods to help clients get their desired cut. It is an effective course for barbers and stylists to achieve a personalized style while building confidence. The session will be led by Jeremy Taylor and Travis Parker, who will provide step-by-step instructions while providing feedback on each cut. Brochure printing can help students in such courses retain more information while learning new skills.
Mannequins equipped with realistic wigs and hair pieces will be provided for each cutting session. Guests will also have access to refreshments and snacks to maintain comfort and focus throughout. The sessions will consist of eight and 10 hours of in-person instruction.
Centralia Beauty College will host the haircutting workshop and course on the weekend of May 18th and 19th. The class will start at 9:00 AM. Registration is open online and costs $1,275 per student.
