Chehalis residents with a love of learning and a DIY streak will want to make a note in their Calendars, as a soapmaking workshop is opening enrollment.
The All Ages Soapmaking Class, which will be hosted by Mint City Coffee, is preparing to welcome enrollees for a fun and creative experience where guests will learn the basics of soapmaking. The class, which has been organized by Dirty Man Soap and Farmstead, will give each attendee a memorable and hands-on learning experience, gaining the skills to make soap from home.
The instructors will explain and demonstrate the different steps involved in a cold soapmaking process, and all supplies will be included in the enrollment cost. Students will make 8-10 bars of soap to take home during the learning session. Brochure printing is a proven way to share large amounts of information, including recipes and instructions, at workshops like this.
Interested parties are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a refreshing beverage from the host venue and settle in before the learning session begins. Children are welcome to join, though parents are asked to contact the organizers about children under 12 to confirm that the workshop is suitable.
The class will be held at Mint City Coffee Roasting in Chehalis on Saturday, January 17th, at 1:00 PM. Enrollment is open online for $65.50 per participant.
