A figure drawing session is in the works for Chehalis residents who enjoy arts and crafts, with an instructor leading students into drawing life around them.
The Figure Drawing Session, organized by local artist Lorie Wadsworth, will lead students into an evening of fun, warmth, and creativity centered around drawing. Wadsworth will provide one-on-one instructions and guidance to students, and the session is ideal for artists ranging from beginners to experienced creatives.
Students will need to bring their sketchbooks and pencils to participate in the learning session. The learning course will provide a welcoming setting where students can meet and socialize with like-minded individuals and dive into their creative side. A standing easel is also recommended to help new artists with drawing while examining figurines. Printing services can help artists and participants make Copies of their finished works to share with friends and family members.
Spots are limited, and interested parties are encouraged to make reservations while they remain. The instructor will also provide students with handouts that offer additional guidance and tips for honed skills. Students are asked to come prepared with their supplies and a positive attitude.
The drawing session will be held on Thursday, January 2nd, with the doors opening at 6:30 PM and the session ending at 9:30 PM. General admission tickets are available for $20 per person.
