Clean-up event to be held in Tomball
Tidy Up Tomball, an event to clean up trash, will be taking place early this month.
The goal of this event is to bring the community together to beautify the city of Tomball. Families, organizations, and businesses are encouraged to participate in this event. Teams will be created and assigned to pick up trash in a certain part of town. Kick off will be at 8:00 a.m., at which time teams will meet and receive their information packets and materials.
Materials will include trash bags, gloves, safety vests, first aid kits, bottled water and coffee, and a map with the pickup spot designated. Teams will also enjoy a free breakfast. There will be announcements, a group photo, and recognition of sponsors. The teams will go to the areas they have been assigned for cleanup at 9:00 a.m.
Once the teams have cleaned up their assigned area, they will place all their trash bags in a place designated for pickup by the city. Teams can then check out and enjoy a free lunch.
Tidy Up Tomball was founded last year and is an initiative designed to address the issue of waste in the city. Poster printing can be used to promote such events throughout a city to attract participants.
