The Eldred McClean Counseling Center will host its "Aware to Care" Mental Health Awareness Fair this July in Richardson.
The event will offer a full day of educational workshops, counseling sessions, and wellness resources for families and individuals. The event is designed to promote mental health literacy, resilience, and access to support services across age groups.
The agenda includes multiple workshop tracks covering topics such as emotional wellness, self-care, parenting strategies, self-esteem and identity for teens, and effective communication for families. Sessions will be led by licensed professionals and tailored for children, teens, and grown-ups.
Highlights include private “Speed Therapy” sessions—short-term counseling opportunities with licensed therapists that must be reserved in advance. Guests can also explore the exhibitor hall, participate in expressive therapy exercises involving art and mindfulness, and enjoy complimentary lunch and prize giveaways.
General admission is $15 per individual, with an early-bird rate of $10 available through June 30. Tickets may also be sold at the entrance for $15. A legal guardian or parent must accompany individuals under 16. Refunds are permitted up to seven days before the event. Parking is free, and registration is required for workshops and counseling sessions.
Therapy events such as this one may want to equip individuals with helpful information and may use brochure printing to do so.
The "Aware to Care" Mental Health Awareness Fair will take place on Saturday, July 19th, from 9 am to 3 pm at First Baptist Richardson, located at 1001 N Central Expressway, Richardson, Texas.
