Richardson all set for annual parade

Richardson’s 41st Annual Christmas Parade is produced as a fundraising venue by the City of Richardson, with all proceeds from this benefit event going towards the Network of Community Ministries. This year’s parade theme is “Reindeer Games” and all the décor and costumes will be reflecting this theme. This is a great family event and one which is bound to have enlisted the help of local Print companies, who may have offered banner printing services to promote it.

This annual Christmas parade, complete with costumes, floats, and bands, will wind its way north on Colt Road to Cherrywood Drive and then will continue on to JJ Pearce High School where it will disburse.
Up until this Sunday, November 25, at 5:00 pm, entries will be accepted. This year’s parade chair is Barbara Cottone and members of the community are asked to contact her if they wish to participate in this year’s parade. People are still being accepted to march and ride on floats.

After the parade, an Awards ceremony will take place before the annual Richardson’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will then be followed by the grand opening of the Annual Santa’s Village.

Admission is by donation and everyone is welcome. The Richardson’s 41st Annual Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 1, at 11:00 am, starting at Belt Line Road and Colt Road in Richardson, Texas.
