Far East Pizza Co., a pizzeria with a strong Indian influence, has opened in the Collins Crossing office building here in Richardson.
Nidhi Mittal, owner and chef, has located her new venture on the Collins Crossing ground floor. She partnered with vegan chef Troy Gardner to bring the takeout-only concept Far East to fruition. The pizzeria features a coming together of American-Italian food and Indian and Mediterranean cuisine.

A variety of pizzas are available, among which are Tikka Tikka Pizza, Far East Veggie, Butter Chicken Pizza, and Kozy Kofta Comfort Pizza, all of which come in two sizes. Plus, customers have the option of building their own pizza with a base of either naan or flat bread. Pastas based on the same ingredients as its pizzas are available as well.
Several sandwiches featuring a fun Indian twist are on the menu and come in full and half sizes. Patrons can also select a regular or family-size salad of which there are three colorful choices: Auntie Pasta Salad, Far East Caesar Salad, and Hello Dahli.
Dessert selections include a lightly sweet Indian rice custard and a Fudge Brownie Kashmir Cup that features a fudge brownie layered with custard.
