What's Happening in Pasadena, TX…

Repticon comes crawling back to Pasadena

The requests for the return of Repticon Houston have continued to increase ever since its debut in July 2010, and it is set to take place again in just a few weeks’ time.

The locals have become familiar with the showings and know that they can expect to see a large display of reptiles. As the showings have gained popularity, they now feature thousands of reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians, spiders, and small exotic animals that generally raise an eyebrow or two among their viewers.

The expo is a family-oriented event that brings educators, vendors, and breeders together where they all can offer expert advice on the animals, cages, supplies, merchandise, feeders, and other pet care instruction to the masses. Brochures and other handouts might be beneficial to the vendors in outlining information about the care, habits or diets of the many wonderful and intriguing animals displayed.

Many of the seminars given will feature live animals with which the guests will be able to interact. The event is very suitable for all members of the family, and for a diverse range of reptile and amphibian lovers.

The public is welcome to attend on Saturday, August 6, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Sunday, August 7, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It takes place at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds at 7902 Fairmont Parkway.
