What's Happening in Pasadena, TX…

Pasadena to hold non-perishable collection day

Pasadena has a reputation for being a community that cares, and its residents and businesses alike have been asked to be as generous next week.

The city has planned an initiative to make sure everyone who calls the community home has healthy and nutritious food. All of the proceeds will remain in Pasadena, and it is an event almost everyone can get involved in.

For one day only, the Pasadena Convention Center will be converted into a collection station for donations of non-perishable food, and these will be used to restock the shelves at local food pantries. At least six organizations will benefit from this activity, all of which have experience in ensuring contributions are distributed in a way that helps the most.

The organizers working to make this effort a success explained that while all donations will be appreciated, there is a list of items that will be the most helpful. A poster printing company can craft materials that keep the community informed about events like this, and if needed, its graphic design team will even be able to prepare an eye-catching layout.

The Pasadena Food Drive day will be set up in the Pasadena Convention Center next Thursday, November 19. Everyone is asked to be as generous as they can in this effort to support their neighbors in need.
