Pasadena pop-up market to feature vintage creations
This March, Pasadena will play host to a shopping party that will feature an eclectic mix of handmade goods, many of which will be saved from local landfills.
Vintage Market Days will showcase how, with a little care, many discarded items can be made useful once again. The function will feature everything from jewelry and clothing to architectural salvage, vintage, and vintage-inspired creations. The celebration will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center and Municipal Fairgrounds.
The festivities, which will run for three days, will be an upscale experience, and all ages are welcome. Food and beverages will be on offer for purchase along with all the vendor items, and local green thumbs may even have a chance to score some new plants for their garden. The first day will feature an early buying event, and tickets are good for re-entry throughout the entire weekend. Those age 12 and under will be admitted at no charge.
Vendors that plan on setting up shop during a fair or other large activity may want to pay a visit to a local banner printing company ahead of time. It can be counted on to supply booth decor as well as business cards and other materials.
This installment of Vintage Market Days of Southwest Houston will be welcoming the public from March 4 to 6. Its hours and other information can be found on its website.
