Pasadena Master Gardeners program announces upcoming plant sale schedule
The Hants County Master Gardener Association works throughout the year to help foster Pasadena’s horticultural side. Throughout the winter and spring, it will be hosting several plant sales, and the gardening public has been invited to attend these especial events.
The group had organized these sales so that local green thumbs can purchase plants and also talk to Master Gardeners in person. These species and cultivars on offer have all been chosen because they will grow well in the conditions that can be found in the county, and fruit trees, veggies, herbs, tomatoes and perennials will all be on offer at different times throughout the season.
These sales will give the public a venue where they can choose additions to their garden that they can count on to thrive so long as they follow the suggested care, and they can also ask questions and get tips from gardening experts. They can also meet their fellow green thumbs and build a network of others who share their love of horticulture.
While many of the customers at events like these will be private individuals, they can also be a great way for a business to learn how it can create a beautiful, and perhaps even edible, landscape around its buildings. A printing services company can craft publications that provide care instructions and other information to get the most out of these new additions to the “corporate landscape".
Harris County Master Gardeners are looking forward to meeting their fellow plant lovers at their sales, which will take place on various dates throughout the winter and spring. Its website has been updated with the latest schedule and venues for these horticultural celebrations.
