Pasadena event to support environmental initiatives
Pasadena and the surrounding areas are home to various coastal prairie ecosystems, and an upcoming fundraiser will work to ensure they will be protected both now and into the future.
The second annual Party for the Prairie signature fundraiser will be hosted in September in the Silver Sycamore, and it will serve as a fundraiser for initiatives undertaken by the Lawther-Deer Park Prairie Education Program. Two of the organization's top supporters will be honored, and the experience promises to be a lot of fun for all of the guests.
The organizers of the evening noted that the guests will be treated to entertainment, and a live auction and raffle will both take place. Tickets for the function are $150.00 each, and anyone who would like to make an additional financial contribution is welcome to do so. The event’s scheduled run time is three hours, and is being offered thanks to The Native Prairies Association of Texas.
To help make an event like this a success, the planner often depends upon the generosity of the area's business community. A printing services company can be consulted ahead of the function, and it will be able to provide an assortment of corporate gifts to present to these companies to thank them for their support.
The soiree held in support of the Lawther-Deer Park Prairie Education Program is set to welcome ticket holders starting at 6:00 pm on September 25th. The suggested attire for the occasion is Texas Prairie Festive.
