Pasadena event to fund post-secondary students studies
A Pasadena educational institution that believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn has a special event on the horizon, and this gathering will be a black-tie affair.
Students at San Jacinto College will benefit from the proceeds of the 2024 Hollywood Nights Gala that will be welcoming guests at the Center For Petrochemical, Energy, and Technology. It will run for three hours on an evening in mid-May, and the monies raised will help to fund scholarship programs.
The plans for the occasion include a line-up of entertainers, as well as both a live and silent auction. A Promise Wish Wall will be set up, and some of the college’s scholars will be giving live demonstrations of their applied learning. Individual tickets for the celebration are $250 each, and each guest may purchase up to eight.
According to the event listing, the organizers have set a goal of raising at least $30m for the college’s scholarship program, and they are already around 75% of the way there. Programs for an event that provide details about how the guests’ generosity will make an impact can be prepared for a celebration by stationery printers.
