Pasadena area show to be all about cats
Pasadena’s feline fans will be among the crowd at an event that will be all about cats, and it may even help some of these furry friends find a new and loving home.
Whether they have a purebred pedigree or a shelter rescue pet, the Deer Park Cat Show will have plenty to offer families that count a cat as one of their members. The Jimmy Burke Activity Center will be the location for the activity, and at least 100 kitties will be entered in the competition.
The show, which is open to all ages, will boast five judging rings, and prizes will be presented in several categories, including Best in Show. Feline costume contests will take place, and everyone can meet some cats in need of a home to call their own. The kids in the crowd can make a kitty-themed craft, and at least 15 vendors will be onsite as well. The attendees can vote for their favorite cat and also their top exhibitor, and a raffle and door prize draws are also on the way.
The first 500 kids to arrive will receive a specially designed coloring book. Promotional pens and other items to offer as swag can be ordered from a local printer.
