Pasadena area park to host Louisiana-themed festival
A day filled with food and fun is on its way to the Pasadena area, featuring a Louisiana flair.
For one day in March, Sugar Land’s Brazos River Park will be transformed into a huge outdoor party, and it was noted that this is one of the community's newest outdoor celebration spaces. It will be open to ticket holders for seven hours, and both adult and children’s tickets are available.
Those who attend the festivities will be treated to fare supplied by at least 20 different food vendors who hail from Louisiana, and there will be arts and crafts vendors on site as well. Live entertainment will help to build a festive atmosphere, and everyone can catch one of the Chef’s Demos. The adults can whet their whistles in the beer tent, and a special area will be set up just for the kids. Anyone who would like to bring a folding chair so they can sit back and relax is welcome to do so.
