Pasadena area park plans Bayou Greenway Day activities
An area park has recently undergone an upgrade, and residents of Pasadena are invited to be among the crowd during an event that will celebrate the Brays Bayou Greenway and the way it can bring the community together.
Houston Parks Board has made plans to host its fifth annual Bayou Greenway Day, and all members of the public are welcome to join in the fun. Mason Park’s new bridge will be open for pedestrians, and there will be lots of free activities for the whole family.
Those who wish to be a part of the day can choose to walk, bike, jog or run, and they are encouraged to bring along their picnic supplies as well. Many local not for profit groups and businesses will be participating, and last year, the event attracted a crowd of more than 4,000 people.
The planners of the occasion noted that they wish to thank Noble Energy, which is the major sponsor of the day’s activities. They are scheduled to begin at 9:00 am and remain up and running until 3:00 pm. A banner printing company can be called upon to provide banners and other decorations for a large event like this.
Houston’s Mason Park will be the location for this community celebration, and all are welcome. It will be held on April 6.
