Pasadena area festival to give every cat its day
Pasadena cat lovers are expected to be among the crowd at an event that will be all about their favorite pet, and it will offer two days of fun and learning.
Pop Cats will be a weekend filled with all things feline, and the activities will range from displays of cat-related art to browsing at vendor booths. Owners are welcome to bring Fluffy along with them, and there will be special areas set aside for these furry friends.
Guests at the expo will be able to shop for cat-related items, and there will also be photo ops. Workshops related to pet care are on the agenda and music and food will be on offer. Local cat adoption and rescue groups will help to connect stray, abandoned and unwanted felines with a new home, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to animal welfare charities.
