Pasadena area event to benefit homeless companion animals
For those who enjoy spending time with animals, and a class held near Pasadena will bring them into a yoga studio.
Friendwood’s Sundance Yoga Studio will be helping homeless animals and residents to connect in a relaxed environment. The attendees can enjoy being around the puppies and kittens, and they may even meet a new best furry friend.
The charity of choice for the session will be Lifeline of Galveston County, which is an organization that provides a no-kill refuge. Tickets are now available for $10 each, plus any applicable taxes and fees. Half of the proceeds will be donated to the rescue, and while the attendees go through their poses, they will be able to meet others who also care about the world around them.
To help maximize the impact of the day, the planners have created a list of needed items to help it care for its charges. Attendees and the general public have been asked to consider making a generous donation to the cause. Not-for-profit groups often choose to hand out small promotional products printed with their logo design during events, and these both thank the individual for their support and spread the word about the cause.
This opportunity to get in some yoga while enjoying the company of some new fuzzy friends will be hitting the mats on July 16. It will run from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
