Festival of wine and food awaits
It is almost time for the 5th Annual Wine and Food Festival to convene.
This year the hosting winery will be Dionisio Winery, and the festival is going to feature several Texas wineries, local food vendors, and more than 30 craft and specialty items vendors. At the festival, guests will be able to enjoy live entertainment performed by the group Thermal Fusion. While tasting the wine, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a sundry selection of delicious foods, and a shopping experience. Vendors might benefit from custom business cards and flyers to further promote their foods and crafts.
This year, some of the proceeds from the festival will go to a sponsorship named Stand Up for Kids that aims to reintegrate homeless youth into society by providing them with resources, training, and assistance. The mission of the organization is to ‘End the Cycle of Youth Homelessness’ through its programs.
The festival seeks to be for a good cause all the way around, and it is anticipated that attendance to the event will exceed last year’s, which was over 1,500.
The festival will take place on August 27 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm, at the Pearland Town Center Pavilion, which is just 14 miles south of Pasadena. All are invited to come out and partake in the event.
