Tree planting classes come to North Richland Hills

Trees and shade are coming to North Richland Hills, and residents are invited to learn a new skill while helping the local environment.

The Tarrant County Master Gardener will provide an online course to North Richland Hills next month, teaching visitors and residents the basics of tree planting. The shade and fruit these new trees offer will create a comfortable and budding environment within the local community and give homeowners additional protection from the typical North Texas summer heat.

Guests will learn the importance of knowing how to plant trees, the optimal locations for planting, and proper pruning techniques. The event is part of a Keep NRH Beautiful initiative to improve the local community and reduce the effects of direct sunlight on people, pets, and homes.

Attendees can expect to learn the basics of planting trees during the first hour of the class. A Q&A session will follow the hour-long learning session for a comprehensive learning experience and knowledge for future generations. The course will be online, providing easy access to all interested parties. Printing services can be a great way to spread word of such events.

The class is scheduled for Thursday, November 2nd, and registration is free. The learning experience begins at 6:00 PM, and attendees are encouraged to check their email addresses for instructions to log in and participate. Interested parties can sign up for the tree planting course on their EventBrite listing.
