Silent disco and neon run offer experience near North Richland Hills

Children of the ‘90s are in for a trip down memory lane next month, as a ‘90s-themed silent disco and running event is being organized near North Richland Hills.

The ‘90s Silent Disco and Neon Run will begin accepting registration from interested parties soon, with an eye on enjoying the top tunes from a memorable decade. The event will be held as part of the Healthy Hurst initiative to get community members up and moving.

Interested parties can take part in one of or both the neon run and silent disco, and are asked to dress in their most ‘90s attire to match the event’s theme. Silent disco participants will be given wireless headphones to listen to music on multiple channels while dancing with friends and like-minded individuals. Flyer printing is a classic promotion tactic for such events.

The Neon Run segment will be held ahead of the Silent Disco, which will feature vibrant music and neon lights to help participants find the energy to push their minds and bodies. Interested parties can register for the 5K or 1-mile run, and a parent or guardian must accompany all participants 14 and under.

The events will be held at the Hurst Community Park in neighboring Hurst on Saturday, April 5, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The run is free, and silent disco tickets are $10 online.
