Community movie night brings North Richland Hills together

Families in North Richland Hills will want to start picking out snacks and getting cozy clothing around for an upcoming community event that will air a beloved children’s movie.

North Richland Hills Movies in the Park in Green Valley is getting ready to welcome families and other interested individuals for an evening of community where people can enjoy an airing of The Big Green, a PG-rated movie from 1995 that features the journey of an underdog youth soccer team.

The event is being organized by the North Richland Hills Parks and Recreation Department with help from the Birdville Area Youth Futbol Alliance to give families with young children a way to kick off the arrival of autumn in town. Spreading the word about community events like this is easy with poster and flyer printing, with both providing mass-produced items that combine colorful graphics with informational text.

Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable viewing experience. The evening will also feature pre-movie activities and games that play into the soccer theme. Concessions will be available for purchase through the Birdville Area Youth Futbol Alliance.

Green Valley Park will use its soccer field as the viewing area for the movie night, which is scheduled for Friday, November 6, at 6:00pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
