Active individuals can lace up their boots for a hike and bike day of outdoor activities coming to North Richland Hills this week.
The Round the Town Hike and Bike is slated to begin next week, and North Richland Hills residents are invited to lace their hiking boots and prepare their bikes for fun in the sun. Sunrise Bicycle Shop sponsors the event, aiming to provide more physical activity to the area. The event will feature 180 open slots, with each participant getting to explore biking and hiking equipment from local vendors.
Guests will explore local parks with like-minded North Richland Hills community individuals. The hike and bike event will occur monthly, each providing an opportunity for participants to explore new areas around town. Flyer printing is an outstanding way to build awareness of community events like this.
The recreational bike rides range from 9 to 12 miles. The route combines trails and on-road biking to complete the circuit. Individuals who prefer hiking will cover a distance of between one and two miles, with the led hikes occurring on loop trails.
The event will depart from the TEXRail Smithfield Station on Tuesday, April 2, beginning at 6:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and snacks to remain refreshed during the event.
