Conroe shoppers can support Texas-based small businesses by attending the Big Top Shopping Festival coming to Conroe at the end of February.
More than 300 exhibitors will be selling everything from sauces and dips to furniture, home décor, shoes, clothing, and accessories. Prices will start at $5 and go up to as high as $2,000. Half of the items will hand-made, and the other half will be manufactured. Gourmet food will include casserole and cobbler mixes, pies and cakes, jams and jellies, artisan sweets, and chocolate.
Vendors at shows like this often include Business Cards with purchases. For this event, 90% of the exhibitors are based here in Texas while the other 10% will come from Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
An Ultimate Game Zone will entertain the kids ages 3 to 14. It will include laser tag and bouncy houses. Wristbands cost from $8 to $50, while single tickets will be $5.
Visitors are invited to stay at the festival for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food stands, wagons, and trucks will be selling coffee and tacos for breakfast; smoked BBQ, gyros, Tex-Mex, and other fair food for lunch; and dinner items will be available until 5:00 pm.
Big Top Shopping Festival – Conroe will be free and will take place at Heritage Place Park, 500 Metcalf Street, on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26.
