Little ones will be lining up to visit Santa at two events on the same day in December.
Donuts with Santa will start the day with children and their families visiting Santa in a festive room that will have a secret theme. Everyone will be ushered into the waiting area, where they will be treated to juice, coffee, donuts, and activities such as crafts, face painting, and a Christmas movie. Families will be called one by one in to see Santa.
Guests are encouraged to bring cameras or cell phones to take pictures as there will be photo opportunities both in the waiting area and with Santa. Although the event will be free, reservations are required for 30-minute time slots.
Donuts with Santa will be from 8:00am to noon on Saturday, December 10 at the Oscar Johnson, Jr. Community Center, 100 Park Place.
The Toby Powell Conroe Christmas Celebration and Parade will begin at 11:00am. Santa will be available for photos: there will be snow slides, fun booths, a Ferris wheel, stage performances, and concessions before and after the parade, which will begin at 1:00pm.
The event will be free, as will be photos with Santa, and many other activities. However, concessions and items in the vendor booths will be available for sale. Vendors at Christmas events often get some special seasonal Business Cards done to make the most of the occasion.
Conroe Christmas Celebration will be from 11:00am to 4:00pm on December 10 at Heritage Place, 100 Metcalf St.
