Local runners and walkers will be heading to Three Palms Action Sports Park in Houston for the annual Bubble Run next weekend.
Participants of all ages will be running or walking through 5K of bubbly foam and blasted with suds at the finish line. No doubt participants from nearby Conroe will be joining in the fun.
The race will have a rolling start, which means 200 to 300 racers will be released every 60 to 90 seconds in waves. Physical start time depends on when the participant enters the start chute. There will be three heats – one at 8:00 am, one at 9:00 am, and one at 10:00 am.
Swag will include finisher medals, temporary tattoos, race bibs and numbers, and T-Shirts sporting this year’s Bubble Run 5K Logo Design. Online registration is $15 and will also include entry to the after-race Bubble 5K celebration. Race day registration will begin at 7:00 am.
Parking will be available at the event site and nearby venues. Some of which will be charging up to $20.
Bubble Run-Houston will take place Saturday, May 7th at Three Palms Action Sports Park, 15100 Interstate 45 S. Race packets will be available the day before the race from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Academy Sports Outdoors, 1414 N Loop 336 W.
