October has traditionally been the season for little ones to don their Halloween costumes and head out for lots of fun and loads of candy, but Conroe has some options with an emphasis on safety this year.
One of these will be the Treat or Treat Trail put on by the City of Conroe’s Parks and Recreation Department. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and walk a path where local businesses will be handing out candy, coupons, Promotional Products, and Flyers. The movie Ghostbusters will be shown afterwards.
Kids from 4 to 12 years old can go Pumpkin Bobbing. Kids will be jumping into the pool and grabbing pumpkins. They can decorate the pumpkins at one of the poolside decorating stations and take them home.
Also, the Third Annual Happy Halloween event will take place in the ballroom at Lake Conroe. A DJ will emcee the event and there will be a costume contest, carnival games, food and fun.
The Trick-or Treat Trail will take place on October 21 from 3:00 until 6:00 pm at Carl Barton, Jr. Park (2500 South Loop 336 East), Conroe.
The Pumpkin Bobbing will be at Conroe Aquatic Center (1205 Candy Cane Lane), Conroe on October 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Happy Halloween has been slated for the evening of October 21 at Houston North KOA at 19785 Highway 105 West, Montgomery.
