The Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo will be taking place in Conroe in mid-April.
Taking place each year, the fair dates back to the 1960s, and has become a tradition for many in the region.
Complete with live music, the headliners for the event will include country musicians Jason Boland and the Stragglers and Danielle Bradberry.
Conroe children will be able to enjoy activities in the Buckalew Chevrolet AG Knowledge Barn, which features pony rides, a petting zoo, “Goat Mountain”, and the livestock birthing center. Little ones can also line up for a ride on the modified vintage 1950's tractor.
Flower Pedal Ranch will have a cow to milk, pedal tractors, and a roping station.
This year, the carnival will be using a cashless system, so everyone will need to purchase pre-loaded armbands in order to access the games, food, and rides.
The annual Love Street BBQ Cook-Off will take place on the second weekend, along with Outhouse Races for the BBQ teams and a Cornhole Tournament.
Participants that enter competitions like this often make use of colorful T-Shirts printed with their team’s graphic design.
There will also be a Senior Citizens Day taking place at the fair, which will crown this year's "King and Queen for the Day".
