Christmas in Conroe will include a tree lighting, Christmas Celebration, and parade - all coming during the first part of December.
Conroe's annual Tree Lighting at Heritage Place, 500 Collins Street, will take place Tuesday, December 3rd beginning at 6:30 pm. Collective Christmas Around the Square will also be taking place that evening from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm at 213 N Thompson Street on Main Street in Historic Downtown Conroe.
The annual Toby Powell Conroe Christmas Celebration will be Saturday, December 14th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Heritage Place 500 Collins Street. The free event will feature inflatables, concessions, photos with Santa, fun booths, vendors, and stage performances.
That afternoon beginning at 1:00 pm, the Conroe Noon Kiwanis Christmas Parade with its horses, vehicles, and marching/walking units will meander through Downtown Conroe. The theme for this year's parade will be Christmas in Toyland and Santa will be bringing in the Christmas season at the end of the procession.
Proceeds from the parade will go to programs provided by the Conroe Noon Kiwanis Club.
Four Sponsorship levels - Community at $1000 or above, Activity at the $2500 and above, Celebration at $5000 and the Presenting at the $10,000 level are available. Each sponsor will need to get their company Logo Design to the organizers before the individual banner and collective sponsors' banner printing gets underway.
