Health-conscious meeting at Conroes heart

The Conroe Regional Medical Center Auditorium will offer Mended Hearts, a care networking event, next week.

The purpose of the fall event is to encourage hope for recovery and for living a full life. The Mended Hearts program has been in existence for over 50 years and offers the opportunity to people suffering from heart disease to gather together and talk about their issues.

Caregivers and family members frequently accompany the patients to the Mended Hearts events. Various group meet-ups are offered the first Tuesday of each month. The events offer the public the chance to gather together and help each deal with the realities involved with heart disease.

The Conroe Regional Medical Center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It is also licensed by the Texas Department of Health.

Many workshops and resources are available through the entity. Oftentimes, a Print company is contracted to handle printing needs for medical groups. Poster printing is frequently ordered as Posters are mounted in various areas of a facility to communicate information.

The next meeting is scheduled for October 7 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Conroe Regional Medical Center Auditorium. The center is located at 504 Medical Center Boulevard. For more information about this or any of its other events, visit the Conroe Regional Medical Center website or call 936-539-7447.
