The Hit-a-Thon is taking place next month in The Woodlands. The event is presented by Zachary Berger and is a fundraiser for the Lymphatic Education and Research Network (LE&RN).
Each participant has the opportunity to hit 25 pitches thrown by College Players. They collect pledges and donations to raise funds for the organization. Those who raise a minimum of $50 will receive a T-shirt. The event is open to both children and adults.
There will also be food and drink for sale, Kona ice and a raffle. Games such as cornhole and whiffle T-ball will cost $1 each to play. It will be a great day out for area families while raising much-needed funds.
LE&RN helps to spread awareness and fund research into a variety of lymphatic diseases. Zachary Berger suffers from Lymphatic Malformation and the organization was created by his family to raise awareness of the different diseases.
People from The Woodlands and nearby Conroe will probably be very interested in this event, especially those who have family members with lymphatic diseases. Local printing companies often provide Flyers and other marketing materials to events such as these.
