The area’s Foam Glow 5K will be coming to Conroe in mid-July.
Foam Glow is a 5K untimed romp through orange, pink and green foam cannon zones where participants will be doused with neon colored foam containing 100% non-toxic and natural UV neon glow powder. Blacklights over a three-mile course will have the runners looking like pieces of vibrant glowing art. Participants are advised to wear as much white as they can to accentuate the colors.
Spectators are invited to watch the fun by standing on either side of the beginning/finish line.
Swag will include T-Shirts featuring this year’s Foam Glow graphic design, finisher medals, race bib numbers, and temporary tattoos. Admission to the after party will also be included, where blacklights will light up the dancefloor as cannons situated around the floor shoot colored foam onto the stage area every five to ten minutes.
Although admission to the Houston race will be free, participants must register before the race day.
Race packets will be available the day before race day. Registration will begin at 6:45 pm with a pre-party starting at 7:45 pm. The race begins at 8:45 pm, and the after party will end around 10:45 pm. Runners will be assigned heat times and will be released every 60 to 90 seconds in small groups.
