The 26th Annual Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival and Carnival is just around the corner.
The festival, which will be held in downtown Conroe, is a family friendly event featuring entertainment for all ages.
Attendees will be able to enjoy local, regional, and national performers that entertain nonstop throughout the event on three different stage locations. The music will serve as a backdrop during the festival.
Food Vendors will be on site displaying Menus, likely provided by local printing companies, with Cajun favorites. The festival will also include vendors providing educational exhibits, showcasing arts and crafts (which will be available for purchase) and local community exhibits.
Children will enjoy the Kid Zone, which features fun rides, a Monster Mural, and inflatables. The Zone also includes stages for local dance teams and other community groups/entertainers to perform. Entrance to the Kid Zone and Small Fry Stage is free.
Other highlights include an annual Catfish Pageant where they will crown Miss Conroe Catfish 2015 and Mr. Conroe Catfish 2015. Gearheads will want to make time for car show on Sunday afternoon, which will feature pre-1972 vehicles.
The festival will take place during the weekend of October 9 to 11. Tickets to the festival are available online and at the entry gates. Those who take two or more canned goods when purchasing tickets at the gate receive $1 off a single-day admission ticket ($12.00). All canned goods will be donated to the Montgomery County Food Bank. Carnival admission on Saturday and Sunday requires the purchase of an armband with a general admission ticket.Get a Free Quote for Menus
