Runners and walkers in Conroe are invited to experience a foam-filled 5K event coming to the area in a couple of weeks.
The Foam Glo course will have three Glo Zones, where participants will get drenched in non-toxic, 100% natural UV neon powder foam – either pink, orange or green – that glows under high intensity black lights.
Tickets are free, and registration is available online. Swag will include commemorative T-Shirts sporting a Foam Glo graphic design that glows in black light, finisher medals, race bib numbers. and temporary tattoos.
Event participants are encouraged to wear white and arrive between one and one-and-a-half hours ahead of race time to check in, receive their swag, and enjoy the pre-race party.
At the end of the race, everyone will be plastered in color and glow foam. The afterparty will feature DJs, food, dancing, activity booths, and more bursts of neon colors.
On-site registration will begin at 6:45 pm, with the pre-party beginning at 7:45 pm. The race will start at 8:45 pm. Small waves of participants will begin the race at minute to minute-and-a-half intervals. Waves will be arranged on first come, first served basis. The afterparty should wind down around 10:45 pm.
Foam Glow Houston 2022 will take place on Saturday, July 23rd at Three Palms Action Sports Park, 15100 Interstate 45, South Conroe.
