The Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area will present the annual ‘Tastefest’ in just a couple of weeks’ time. It is a highly anticipated event where members of the community have an opportunity to present their culinary creations, as well as meet neighbors and feel the spirit of the county.
Local restaurant teams are invited to participate in this “epicurean” style event. There will be many vendors offering tasting samples, in addition to several local wineries and brew houses.
The chamber of commerce’s mission is to strengthen community economic development and make the city an increasingly enjoyable place in which to live and work. The organization is non-profit, community-based, and governed by a Board of Directors elected by the community. It sets policies, identifies goals, and directs the activities of the Chamber. A president is employed, as well as a professional staff to take care of daily operations. Completing the set-up, hundreds of local volunteers assist with the various events and initiatives spearheaded by the chamber.
Local organizations frequently work with printing companies for the preparation of materials needed to promote events like this. Brochure printers can play an important role in displaying annual events in an appealing and informative manner.
