Conroe looks forward to Heat Wave

Local hip-hop fans will be flocking to Heat Wave, an inaugural hip-hop Conroe concert and event coming to town in a few days.

Live entertainment on multiple stages will include Lord Adrean, Matty Why, John Clementine, Dizzy Mour, De’ante Roberts, Gig 2X, and Jerm. Rogue One, Winston Cook, and Jonthebeat are also slated to appear.

Activities along with the live music will be a giant slip-and-slide, water guns, balloon fights, and contests. There will also be kiddie pools, raffles, food trucks, and freestyle wrestling performance.
The raffle proceeds will go to the beneficiary of the event, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Local vendors will be on site. Taylor Munnerlyn will be hosting the event, with co-hosting honors going to Houston radio personality Outlaw Dave.

Tickets range from general admission $15, VIP $40, to $60 VIP+ tickets. Each VIP and VIP+ ticket includes, table and chairs, a T-shirt sporting this year’s graphic design, and access to the front of the stage. The VIP+ package also includes water guns and water balloons. A charity bike ride ticket is also available for $50.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital advances cures and helps in prevention of pediatric catastrophic diseases for children throughout the world.

Heatwave 2021 will take place at Southern Star Brewery, 3525 N Frazier Street from noon until 10:00 pm on Saturday, July 24.
