The ever-popular Conroe Kidzfest will be coming toward the end of April. Over 15,000 kids and families will be converging on downtown Conroe to learn, explore, create, and just plain play.
Children can enjoy the activity villages, inflatables, train rides, and free face painting. The activity villages will include art, culture, discovery, earth, heritage, history, and a Health-a-Palooza. They will also have safety, splash, and sports villages.
A special area will be designated as the Tot Spot, while older kids can ride the full-size Race Simulator, mini stock car racing, the mechanical bull, and the trackless train. They can climb the Rock Climbing Wall, see Old West shows, slide down the Giant Super Slide, and take on the Zip Line. There will be water activities, live entertainment, strolling performers, and game booths geared to everyone.
Retail booths will be manned by representatives of local merchants, businesses, and organizations that will be selling items and handing out Flyers about their goods and services. The Conroe Downtown Area Association will be reserving spaces outside downtown area stores for their members to participate in the festivities. These booths will have interactive activities and displays. Food vendors will be limited to those establishments in the downtown area.
The event will be Saturday, April 29 starting at 10:00 am and going until sometime around 5:00 pm in Downtown Conroe.
