The City of Conroe is inviting residents to don their Halloween costumes and head out to Carl Barton, Jr. Park for this year’s Trick Or Treat Drive-Thru Trail.
Guests will remain in their cars and drive the mile-long new connector road through the park. Vendors and local businesses will be at intervals along the route passing out Halloween treats, Promotional Products, coupons, and literature. Cars may be decorated to reflect the holiday.
Trick Or Treat Drive-Thru Trail will be October 17, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. Afterwards, a Movie in the Woods will feature the 2019 version of The Addams Family starting at 7:15 pm.
Meanwhile, big vehicle fans will want to attend Monster Truck Wars’ Halloween Havoc on Halloween afternoon.
One giant matinee will feature the world-famous OutLaw, the Sheriff, Il Oso Loco, and Bear Foot. Special events will include Clash of the Titans and Quad Wars. Kids between the ages of three to nine may bring their Powerwheels and be part of the show. Sergeant Smash, one of the monster trucks, will be offering rides.
Kids will receive free Halloween candy and there will be a Best Halloween Costume Contest. Winners of contests such as these often have pictures taken that can be duplicated at nearby Print shops.
Halloween Havoc is scheduled for Saturday, October 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Lonestar Expo Arena, 9255 Airport Road.
