Downtown Conroe will add to the holiday spirit as it hosts the upcoming 2019 Conroe Christmas Celebration in mid-December.
The festivities will begin with the Tree Lighting on December 3rd. The downtown area will be flooded with holiday music and the giant Christmas tree will come aglow at 6:00 pm at the conclusion of the annual ceremony. Guests can continue enjoying the lights and sounds of Christmas afterwards as Downtown Conroe will have its annual Christmas on Main following the tree lighting from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
The celebration itself will commence on December 14th at Heritage Place, 500 Collins Street at 11:00 am. There will be two hills of snow for sledding and snowman building, face painting, a petting zoo plus carriage, train and camel rides. Vendors under pop up canopies will be selling items for holiday gifts and food vendors will be on hand vending plenty of holiday goodies. The stage will have holiday-themed entertainment and all activities will be free. The event should wind down at 4:00 pm.
Digital billboards will be displaying each Santa sponsor’s Logo Design and banner printing is being done to advertise all sponsorships along N Frazier and West Davis Streets.
The Conroe Friendly Cities Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade will step off at 1:00 pm that afternoon. This procession should last about thee-hours, and will march through downtown Conroe.
