Friends of Conroe will hold its Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival fundraiser in mid-October.
For three days, downtown Conroe will be pulsating with Texas County Red Dirt tunes and zydeco. On the Friday evening, the Texas Stage will feature Will Carter Band, Coffey Anderson, and Randall King, while the Cajun Stage will offer Platinum Players and Bayou Roux.
Saturday’s line-up will include Tyler Trantham, Texas Flood Band, Whitey Morgan and the 78’s, and Blackberry Smoke on the Texas Stage, and Brian Jack, Wayne Toups, and Geno Delafose on the Cajun Stage.
Sunday will see the Texas Stage graced with Eyes Like Fire and Ty Laramore, while the Cajun Stage will feature Hispanic Family Day.
The venue will have an arts and crafts area, food court, and carnival. Food vendors at events such as this often have their graphic design printed on their paper products.
General admission tickets for the weekend will be $30, and single-day presale tickets are $15, or will be $20 at the gate. Kids under 12 will not need tickets. Food and beverage credits are $10 for 10, 20 for $20, and 50 for $50.
Hispanic Family Day (in Heritage Park on October 15 from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm) has presale tickets available for $20.
Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival will take place Friday, October 13 from 6:00 pm to midnight; Saturday, October 14 from 11:00 am to noon; and Sunday, October 15 from noon to 6:00 pm.
