The Conroe Christmas Celebration is just around the corner, and admission to all the fun will be free.
Revelers can start the day in the Woodlands with Pancakes with Santa, where the jolly man will be having breakfast and will pose with little ones. These complimentary photos will go nicely in the special frames that the children will decorate. There will be caroling, a reading of ‘The Night Before Christmas’, and goodie Bags.
The Conroe Celebration will have face painting, pony and train rides, inflatables, and a petting zoo. New this year will be camel rides. Two snow hills will be ready for sledding, snowball fights, and snowman building.
In the middle of the afternoon the Conroe Friendly Cities Kiwanis Club will host its 38th Annual Children’s Christmas Parade. This year’s theme will be ‘Jingle Bells Rock’. There will be prizes for winning floats. Commercial, political, and nonprofit organization entries will want to get those Banners ready. Santa will be the finale.
Pancakes with Santa will be December 10 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am at the Woodlands Children’s Museum, 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280 in Woodlands.
The Christmas Celebration and Parade will also be on December 10. The Celebration will begin in Conroe’s Downtown at 11:00 am, and the Parade will step off in Downtown Conroe at 1:00 pm.
